So, please watch, thoughts?
This is a place where I pour out my thoughts, troubles, issues, feelings, and where I'm slowly working through my world view and my relationship with my sweet Jesus.

Re-Doing Church...
A friend on Facebook posted this not long ago, and I am really intrigued by this thought provoking sermon by Francis Chan. First, let me say, one of the biggest reasons I love Francis Chan's speaking is his humility. I appreciate his perspective on the Bible and on Christ and what it looks like to lead a Christian life. I do not pray for him as often as I should, but his ministry is amazing.

Speak to Me...
A friend posted this YouTube video on Facebook.. and I out of curiosity clicked on it. Fracis Chan is an amazing communicator, and his humility has me in awe every time I read something of his or listen to him speak.
This video is in reference to the "Christian world debate on hell" that has been going on and sparked by Rob Bell.
I appreciate Francis Chan's encouragement to read the Bible, and seek understanding and wisdom.. but mostly to read it in the right perspective, that maybe, just maybe my ways, thoughts, feelings, are not "the best" and certainly not over God's...
Enjoy!

Francis Chan...
I just want to put this out there... I have SO MUCH respect for Francis Chan.. So much.
Here's why...
Amen. I pray the Lord blesses him... but more than anything uses him to ROCK THIS WORLD to glorify Christ even more!
Thank you Lord for men like Him! I am so encourage in my soul to see men of Christ not just "living" a life sold out for Christ.. but actually LIVING a life sold out.. and excitedly talking about it!... Just awesome!.. And, even cooler that, people think he's nuts! haha!
Here's why...
- First, he walked away from his mega amazingly booming church to follow Christ... (here)
- Second, he continues to seek what is righteous and holy in Christ's eyes.. no matter what. (here)

Crazy Love...
So, two of my best girl friends down here and I are doing this LTG (Life Transformation Group) and we are reading Crazy Love by Francis Chan. But, thankfully we decided to actually read it together, instead of apart then coming together to talk about it (otherwise I'd be the slacker who didn't read probably).
But, last night we began reading the first chapter, and after a while beforehand of discussing how we wanted this LTG to work and look, we settled on letting it just sorta "be." We decided there would be no set time, no amount of material to cover... we just want it to be very organic in nature, flow as it needs to flow.
I am pretty excited about reading this book, especially with these two girls. I am really looking forward to hearing their thoughts, and pondering the wide variety of things Chan has to share with us :)
